Casino Etiquette: What You Should and Shouldn’t Do

Not everyone knows this, but there are certain rules about how you should and need to behave in a casino room.

There are certain dress codes and rules on how you talk, walk and behave.

Check out the rules that you need to respect in order to become an ultimate live casino member.

DO: Be polite.

This applies to every aspect of our lives.

It’s not just the casino that we are talking about.

But, in the gambling rooms, there are elite people, royals and all kinds of average people that just want to have fun, and all of them require nothing less than polite and nice behaving.

DON’T: Go to the bar by yourself.

There are hosts for a reason.

If you just go to the bar all by yourself, the hosts will take that as bad and disrespectful and it won’t bring any good.

All you need to do is raise your hand and call them over, and they will bring you anything that you want, whether it’s a drink or an appetizer.

DO: Leave a tip.

It’s not necessary, but it’s deeply appreciated by the staff in the casino rooms.

Tipping is a sign that you are satisfied with the overall experience and a guarantee that the next time you come to the same casino, be sure that you will be welcomed as a royalty.

It’s especially important if you have just won big.

Be generous and tip.

DON’T: Use your smartphone when playing.

This is a hard no-no.

Once you’re in a casino, the phones need to be on silent because, first, you need to be completely focused on the game and the situation around you and second, it’s just not polite to be on your phone while everyone else enjoys the experience they have been given.

DO: Leave your chips alone once the game has started.

You mustn’t touch your chips at all costs once the game has started.

It’s simply rude.

Once the bets have been played, replacing your chips is considered as cheating.

And even if you’re a newbie, the chances of being kicked out of the live casino game are really high.

DON’T: Take too much time making a decision.

Timing is everything in this activity.

Respect it when it comes to others because it’s considered inappropriate.

If you’re indecisive and take up way too much time making a decision.

Everyone’s time is valued and that’s why you need to make a smart and quick decision, those are the rules.

Even if you’re a newbie, there are certain rules that need to be respected despite everything.

There are no exceptions because, at the end of the day, the casino rooms are an institution that can’t be taken lightly.
